Create a new email account in
Outlook Express

Server Settings:
pop.nut-n-but.net
smtp.nut-n-but.net

1. Start Outlook Express,
and on the Tools menu, click Accounts.

2. Click Add, and then click Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard

3. On the Your Name page of the wizard, type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you, and then click Next.
Most people use their full name, but you can use any name; even a nickname; that people will recognize.

4. On the E-mail Server Names page, on the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server line insert pop.nut-n-but.net, on the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server line insert
smtp.nut-n-but.net, and then click Next.

5. On the Internet Mail Logon page, type your account name and password.

Note: If you share your computer with other people and are concerned about others being able to download your email, click to clear the check in the Remember Password box. You will then be prompted for the password each time you send or retrieve mail.
Note: DO NOT place a check in the Log on using Secure Password Authentication, if you place a check in that box you will not be able to check your email.

6. Click Next, and then click Finish.

You will now be back at the Internet Accounts window and need to setup Authentication.

1. Click on the pop.nut-n-but.net Mail Account and click on the Propertiesbutton to the right.

2. Click on the Servers tab click and click My server requires authentication so that there is a check in the box and then click on the Settings button to the right.

3. Click on Log on using, put your full email address in for Account name and fill in the Password field, click OK.
Note: DO NOT place a check in the Log on using Secure Password Authentication, if you place a check in that box you will not be able to send your email.

4. You are now at the Properties window, click OK, that will take you to the Internet Accounts window, clik Close.

You are ready to send and recieve e-mail!
